Last month my family and I went to the AGO. We saw the interesting exhibition of a famous artist named Picasso. Picasso was born in Spain in 1881. Personal photos, paintings and sculptures are very beautiful but, the difficult interpretation. There, we met the family's friends of my son. After that we also saw an exhibition of miniature ships, including one of Brazil. There was an area for children, too.
At last, the family's friends and us went to the Arabic restaurant in downtown. It was nice place, and had good food and pleasant people. It was great day and we liked it very much.

Field Trip to St. Lawrence and St. James
Yesterday I had a good time with the teacher Joseph, and 8 classmates, when I went to the St. Lawrence Market and the Cathedral St James. In St. Lawrence Market we saw a presentation about the history of Toronto. John Graves founded the Town of York in 1793, where there lived only 200 people. Lake Ontario was very near and it was possible to fish there. In 1812, the population was 800. In 1834, the name changed to Toronto and it became a city, and had a population of over than 9000. The first City Hall of Toronto was built in 1845, and now has been transformed into St. Lawrence Market. The host was talking about the War of 1812 too. It was interesting. After that we had lunch and a small tour around the place. In the afternoon, we saw same places and talked about Downtown. In front of the Cathedral St James there is the St James Park, where the many people stay there camped in their tents in protest last year. Now the park has many flowers and a nice garden. The Cathedral is very beautiful and has lots of painted glass about the history. There is a big organ there, and we had the pleasure to listen a very beautiful concert. Thank you, Joseph, for this.

Trip to the Zoo
We had an interesting day together in the Zoo this Friday, 13th. The weather was good, and we walked a lot. We saw a brow bear playing with a ball in the water, a white bear swimming, and its cub separated in another room. The tiger was walking alone, and we saw many peacock, including one walking near the people. We also saw many monkeys and chimpanzees.

Dear Robert,
I hope you are OK. Last month, I have moved to a building in North York because it has a very good public school in this area, Seneca Hill School, for my children. The apartment is in the 30th floor and it has a beautiful view. It's possible to see the highway 404, Seneca College, many libraries and the CN Tower. I live with my husband, three kids and two Siamese cats. Maybe in two or three weeks my cats will have kittens.
Last weekend my son invited some friends to come here. It was his birthday party. Why don't you and your family come and eat a pizza together?
See you later.
Alice.

AGO: Art Gallery of Ontario
This weekend, my family and I went to AGO, Art Gallery of Ontario, downtown. It was a very interesting experience where we were welcomed, without getting in line, and where we saw some sculptures by Auguste Rodin, including the famous "The Thinker," paintings by Monet, and the Thomson Collection of Ship Models. There is an area for children where they can play and draw. We would like to return in May to see Picasso.
